The partnership reached a new milestone. Reusable packaging stepped out of the online cart and entered into every Yamamay store across Italy with the launch of the Yamamay Club Bag.

More than just a bag, it’s a retention tool and a bridge between sustainability and loyalty. Integrated into Yamamay Club, the brand’s loyalty program, the bag rewards customers with 30 Yamamay Club points every time they reuse it, return it to the store, or drop it at a collection point.

To make the process seamless, Movopack developed a plug-and-play web app connected to the QR code printed on every bag. With just a scan, customers are guided through the return process, and points are attributed to the right account.

Creating a truly omnichannel experience

And the most exciting part? From now on, even reusable packaging received with online orders can be returned in-store.

This simple change creates something entirely new: a true omnichannel packaging system connecting Yamamay’s online and offline channels. It’s a solution that rewards sustainable choices across every touchpoint and gives an extra reason for customers to come back to the store.

Behind the simplicity of the Yamamay Club Bag lies a powerful system that delivers value across the board.

Each bag is designed to be reused over 20 times, which translates into more than 8 tons of packaging waste avoided every year. On the business side, the economics are equally strong: customers pay €0.99 for the reusable bag, allowing Yamamay to cover packaging costs while driving traffic back into stores, boosting loyalty sign-ups, and encouraging repeat visits, all at no additional cost.
