Looking to impress your customers with sustainable, custom packaging?
From made‑in‑Italy garments to textures chosen for their character, every choice from Silk and Pepper tells a story — and now, so does the packaging. In collaboration with Movopack, the brand has introduced a reusable, fully branded, returnable packaging solution designed to deliver a thoughtful and sustainable unboxing experience, without compromising the care behind every piece.
About Silk and Pepper
Silk and Pepper was born in Verona with a clear idea: womenswear can have a personality of its own. Every collection is entirely made in Italy, designed for women who express themselves through a vibrant and colorful style.
The Challenge
At Silk and Pepper, details are never left to chance, in the colors and the unmistakably Italian style. But until recently, both in-store in Verona and for e-commerce shipments, the packaging was single-use: functional, but far from the values they were building.

The brand was looking for an alternative worthy of its garments — measurable in its impact, and simple enough to actively involve its customer community in the return process.
The Solution
Movopack designed a reusable packaging solution tailored to Silk and Pepper: fully customized, it feels like a natural extension of the shopping experience. Two versions were designed for two different moments – one optimized for e-commerce shipments, and one with handles designed for the store.

The Results
The brand elevates the customer experience with reusable packaging that reflects the quality and personality of what it contains. This makes sustainability more tangible and accessible: after unboxing, customers can return it for free in any postbox or directly in-store in Verona.

As the packaging is designed for more than 20 reuse cycles, the collaboration delivers measurable large‑scale impact, including up to 75% fewer CO₂ emissions and 72% energy savings compared to single‑use alternatives. The result is packaging crafted with the same care as the garments it carries — and a tangible impact that goes beyond style.
